Registration fees are non-refundable. However, race number transfers will be authorized via the runner's space received in the registration email up to 14 days before the event date.
The transfer of the race bib is possible until Sunday, March 15, 2026 (with a €5 administration fee) via your Njuko runner's account.
From March 16 onwards, distance transfers will still be possible, but only on-site at the event secretariat under certain conditions:
- Transfer fee of €10
- The race bib can only be transferred to someone in the same age category as the one you selected during your registration.
- No changes to the distance will be allowed.
The person receiving the registration must provide the following information
- their ID
- A copy of the relinquishing party's identity document
- A copy of the confirmation e-mail received at the time of registration by the person renouncing his/her registration.
Registration transfers can only be made at the event secretariat during event opening hours.
How do I transfer my enrolment?
To transfer your race number, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Njuko account.
- Go to the ‘Transfer my registration’ section, then enter the new participant's email address in the field provided.
- Click on ‘Transfer my registration’ (the button may be discreet, but it is there).
- The new participant will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the transfer.
Important: Payment for the race number must be made directly between the former and new participants. The new participant will only be required to pay the transfer fee to the platform.
Once these steps have been completed, the transfer will be validated.
Any request to transfer a distance is possible up to 14 days before the date of the event via the runner's area received in the registration confirmation email.
In the event of a downgraded distance, the difference in the registration fee will not be reimbursed.
- For any request to increase the distance, the difference in the registration fee between the two distances must be paid.
Changes made on the day of the event are subject to a surcharge, the amount of which will depend on the distance involved.
To send your license, you need to log in to your account and upload your documents. Your file must be less than 1 MB in size. Licenses sent by email or post are no longer accepted.
To qualify for the 2026 UCI Granfondo World Championships, you must finish in the top 25 percent of your age category (UCI categories).
After the event, the UCI will notify each qualifier by e-mail that he or she has qualified.
Men aged between 19 and 59 in 2026 must qualify via the Granfondo. Men who will be 60 or over in 2026 must qualify via the Mediofondo.
Women aged between 19 and 49 must qualify via the Granfondo. Women aged 50 or over must qualify via the Mediofondo.
Yes, the route is 100% closed to traffic. Cyclists are still required to follow the rules of the road.
The safety and supervision system and the signallers will help cyclists to ensure their safety and that of other road users.
All cyclists must ensure their own safety and adapt their speed to the route, traffic and weather conditions (rain, wind, etc.).
Please note: as the road will be completely closed to traffic, all cyclists must remain at the venue until at least 2 p.m., until the race has finished and the road has been reopened to traffic.
It is prohibited to use a support vehicle (car, van, motorbike, scooter).
Refuelling and technical assistance from cars, motorcycles, etc. are forbidden.
Refuelling and additional assistance are allowed behind the road, on the right-hand side of the road and when the bike is stationary.
For minor repairs such as punctures, you need to have the necessary equipment. If you can't continue your journey because of a mechanical problem, you can take a seat in the broom wagon. But you'll have to be patient.
If you are the author or witness of an accident, or if you notice that someone is in need of medical assistance, each participant is obliged to stop and render assistance, and to call for help by calling the emergency number on the back of your frame plate.
Minors (aged 16 and over) can take part in the Medio Fondo and Rando events by downloading a parental authorization form when registering online.
A medical certificate is not required. However, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire when registering.

You can purchase a T-shirt or a cap directly through your participant area, accessible via the confirmation email of your registration.
If you have pre-ordered one or more Gran Fondo Belgium merchandise items, you can collect them on site at the secretariat during opening hours.
You can book your Pasta Party until the Friday before the event, which is Friday 27 March.
